OT and IT, properly separated.

Plant-floor segmentation, industrial wireless, and continuity design for lines that can’t stop. We design it, then hand it back to your team.

Where we fit

OT and IT converged before anybody designed for it.

Plant networks grow the way plants grow: a line at a time, a cell at a time, usually inside a shutdown window that ended twenty minutes ago. Somewhere along the way the plant floor, which is operational technology (OT), ended up on the same wire as corporate information technology (IT). Nobody made that decision on purpose.

That convergence is the engagement. Answering it properly means understanding both sides of the boundary: what the process tolerates, and what the network has to guarantee. A control system and an office network want opposite things from the same equipment.

We map what is actually there, design the separation, document it, and hand it back to your team.

Why independent matters

Named engagements. Signed deliverables.

Vendor-neutral by design. We are not tied to one vendor’s stack, so the design starts from what the site actually needs. If the design in front of you is already sound, we’ll say so and go home.

Work is attributable to IZT TECH and never white-labelled. That matters here. The deliverable usually gets read by somebody else: a client, a board, an auditor. An anonymous document carries no more weight than the opinion of whoever is holding it.

Where we hand off

When the work belongs to a sister division.

If the real problem is manufacturing execution system (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) integration, or software that has to be written rather than designed, that belongs to IZT APPS. If it is phones or telecom, that is IZT CLOUD. IZT TECH advises, IZT CLOUD provides, and either way we will point you there rather than stretch. Naming that boundary in writing is part of how we scope every engagement. If the group also runs dealer or service sites, our automotive page covers the same segmentation problem across stores.

Need help with something?

Tell us the decision you’re trying to make. We’ll tell you whether it’s an engagement, a referral to one of our sister divisions, or something you don’t need us for.

We’re here for you, so you can focus on what matters.
